Holiness is Not Like Any Other Doctrine

“Holiness is not like any other doctrine,” explained Scott Brown, the President of NCFIC, here at the Ridgecrest Conference Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

“It’s not a separate thing. It’s not like the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints or heaven or hell.”

“God’s holiness is found in everything. It is the irreducible principle.  It’s higher, deeper, and wider than all the doctrines.  Isolating the doctrine of holiness is impossible.”

Scott was reminded of the words of the hymnwriter, Frederick Lehman, dating back to 1917: “The love of God is greater far, than tongue or pen can ever tell.”
