In this video clip, “The age of the involved dad has arrived.” There is a cultural sea change…they are children on the women’s movement and the culture of divorce. She says, “There used to be a difference between father and mother…now they are morphing into a unisex/spouse/parent.”
Many years ago when I was a young father going through huge financial challenges I would crank up the stereo on Saturday mornings and play this song, with all my children sort of dancing around the house going about their Saturday chores and singing with their daddy.
